Asterisked in 1956 repertoire list. Score notes f.p. Morley Feb 1953, date in error; Schott gives f.p. 1944 by Ilona Kabos

70th birthday concert of works by Auguste Sérieyx. Other items included two songs for soprano and piano and additional piano and violin pieces. The violin sonata concluded the programme.

Asterisked in 1956 repertoire list, though no premiere noted on score. Vogel lived in Ascona. Probably f.Swiss p., predating performances by Karl Engel in a Pro Musica concert reported in the press in February 1948 and by Pietro Scarpini in the Bern Gattiker concerts on 27 May 1948. The work was premiered by Alexandre Borowsky for the BBC in 1937.

Unclear which concerto was performed. The programme for the original broadcast states "C moll". A later broadcast on 22 Nov 1972, assumed a repeat as the performers are the same, gives "no.5 in C moll". A letter by Howard Hartog to the BBC dated 12 Nov 1961 making concerto suggestions includes "Field Concerto no.5". The 1967 repertoire sent by Howard Hartog to the BBC states "E flat no.5". Field's Concerto no.5 is in C major. Concertos 1, 3 and 4 are in E flat.

f.p. New York 16 Mar 1942 by Germaine Leroux, f.Eng.p. BBC 19 Mar 1950 by Lisa Fuchsova (from Kenneth Thompson, A Dictionary of Twentieth-Century Composers 1911-1971)

Asterisked in 1956 repertoire list, f.Swiss.p. and probably f.broad.p. Poulton's Dictionary-Catalog gives f.broad.p. 26 Apr 1950 by Reizenstein but this can only be the f.Brit.broad.p.; f.p. London June 1942 by Reizenstein.

Given as f.p. in Le Radio actualités. Henry Barraud became Director of Paris Radio after the liberation of Paris in 1944.

Suggested in a letter to the BBC on 7 June 1951 stating "all these works I have played and broadcasted in Switzerland". These five works have not been found in Swiss radio programme listings. Of the other works mentioned, only the Moeschinger and Staempfli have had broadcasts identified.

Ulna Hale is given in the programme. The review in The Times gives Carla Henius.
